Tea Tree Oil - Tea tree oil is known for its ability to kill bacteria. This is why it is one of the best remedies for acne as it can kill or weaken bacteria that cause acne. You can either buy a product that contains tea tree oil that is specifically used to treat acne or just get some tea tree oil and mix five parts with 95 parts water and apply to the affected area. 

Aloe Vera - Aloe Vera is great for acne because it soothes the skin and acts as a mild anti-inflammatory and also helps to kill bacteria and cleanses the skin. It's use has become more and more popular among those trying to get rid of their acne. There are many soaps and gels that contain Aloe Vera that you can use to treat your acne. 

Orange Peel - This home remedy for acne involves taking orange peel and mashing it up and mixing it with water. You would then apply to the affected area of your face.  

Vitamins - There are vitamins that are good for helping treat acne. These vitamins consist of Niacin, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E. You should take 100 mg of Niacin three times a day, 400 mg of Vitamin E once a day, and make sure to get you daily source of Vitamin A. You can also try Zinc as this is becoming a good home remedy for acne. You would want to take 50mg of Zinc one to three times daily.

If you are on a budget or can't afford to pay for more expensive acne treatments, you can easily try some of these home remedies to see if they work for you. You most likely have the ingredients right in your home. If you don't, you can easily purchase them from your local grocery or food store for affordable prices.
